Biography:

Daredevil, whose civilian identity is Matt Murdock, is a Marvel Comics character. Blinded as a child in an accident involving radioactive material, the accident heightened his other senses to superhuman levels. Matt Murdock uses these enhanced senses to fight crime in Hell's Kitchen, New York City.

Daredevil first appeared in *Daredevil* #1 (April 1964). Trained in martial arts by Stick, a blind martial arts master, Daredevil possesses incredible agility, reflexes, and strength. He utilizes these skills alongside his radar sense, which allows him to perceive his surroundings despite his blindness.

As Matt Murdock, Daredevil is a lawyer, fighting for justice in the courtroom as well as on the streets as the costumed vigilante Daredevil.
